Why do you love training? I love the pursuit of improvement, in all senses. Training for me is a lifestyle and is built into my day-to-day routine. I love the feeling of building momentum and being able to enter new realms and seeing my body adapt through that process.
What do you specialise in coaching clients for? Powerlifting, with the main priority being performance. Regardless of experience level, if someone is looking to progress in the sport of powerlifting, I’ll endeavor to get them to reach their true potential…. plus a little extra!
Why do you love coaching? I love untangling the way people move. I love giving people a purpose with their training and unlocking new strength as a result. I pride myself on problem-solving with people to break through their self-proclaimed plateaus and giving them a sense of clarity with every training session.
What do you want new clients to know about you? That I’m thorough, precise and will always prioritise their progression in the sport. We’ll also get f*cking jacked doing so!

Why do you love training? I love training because it offers a blend of physical challenge and mental resilience. Training gives me an outlet for stress, boosts my mood, and fosters a sense of discipline and structure. Training plays a significant role in maintaining mental health and wellbeing. I love setting goals and I love the work and process that goes into working towards those goals. Though, to me, training isn’t just about getting better physically, achieving or seeing tangible results, rather, it’s a holistic approach to achieving a healthier, happier life.
What do you specialise in coaching clients for? Sports performance, strength and conditioning, powerlifting and nutrition (sports nutrition, weight loss, weight gain, weight management, health and lifestyle).

The process of tailoring programs to meet individual needs and seeing a direct impact of my guidance on their success brings a deep sense of purpose and satisfaction.

What are your qualifications? ZeroW Coach Development System. I also have my PT Level 2 and 3, GB Powerlifting Coach Lvl 1, RTS Emerging Strategies Classroom and more!
How many years have you been strength training? I’ve been strength training for about 10-11 years, and powerlifting for 7 years.
What are your best sporting achievements? 2x u57kg Welsh Powerlifting Champion.
Why do you love training? As a totally non-sporty kid, I tried to find some kind of activity that would give me joy, and after trying different things over the years (I even tried crossfit 🤫), I found strength training and powerlifting. I love its repetitiveness, you know what to expect in every session. Also, powerlifting is a sport for lazy people – you get to do 3 exercises, 9 lifts and no need to run in between! A dream sport to be involved in!
What do you specialise in coaching clients for? I’m a powerlifting coach. But I also coach more recreational lifters, as the main 3 lifts can be an amazing base to all kinds of goals.
Why do you love coaching? I could say the same thing as most coaches – that I love helping people achieve their goals, which is of course true. But what I love even more is seeing the mental changes that are happening because of strength training. Building mental resilience and respect for what our body can do is unbelievable, and it will affect your daily life in the best possible way.
What do you want new clients to know about you? I love having fun in the gym, but I am very serious about getting you a result. If you want to do it, I will give you all the tools and support that I can, so you can do the job you need to do to get the results you want. I also sometimes talk too much and I like cats.
Why should a new client get coached by you? Because I deliver!

The equipment there is to the highest standard (Eleiko plates and barbells, along with ZeroW equipment), which is perfect for powerlifters across the experience spectrum (novice to elite) A fantastic community that is always there to support you, along with Gym Staff (especially the owner) who are helpful and polite. Overall, this place is like Jerusalem, but for Welsh Powerlifting. In other words, a pilgrimage site for those seeking strength in Wales.Posted on Craig OdonoghueTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The equipment is world-class and meets competition standards. The coaching is quality, and that's no surprise as ZeroW has an international coach development programme that trains coaches around the world to elite levels. The team is very knowledgeable and supportive, and no matter where you are on your journey, they'll guide you to the next level. The pricing is very reasonable considering the equipment and services on offer. The culture in ZeroW is very warm and welcoming from both the team members and other gym goers. That warm culture comes from the efforts of the management and team working hard to create an inclusive environment for every person that walks into the place. It doesn't matter what age or fitness level you are. Take the step and come to ZeroW. Don't miss out on one of the best gyms in the UK.Posted on Matthew WildeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best gym that I’ve been to - top class equipment, great welcoming atmosphere, staff who have more knowledge than you can imagine. 10/10. Best place to train.Posted on Taylor ThomsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn’t speak more highly of this gym and the team who help run it. This gym is a gym made for athletes run by athletes. Whether you are just starting or looking to push your self, the zero team has you covered. I cannot begin to explain how refreshing it was to train along side other athletes from all different sporting backgrounds , all working towards their own individual sporting goals whilst also taking the time to support their peers around them. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and supportive and the equipment is top notch. Big shout out to Tommy who got me as physically ready for the Touch Rugby World Cup as possible, but also really grew my confidence within the S&C world and ensured good technique habits were being formed , minimising the risk of unnecessary injuries ! Also to Sandra and Jordon for stepping in wherever possible to ensure my goals were met and my training was continued to plan. What a gym , what a team !
